Isolation of Repetition is a series based upon the repetition of buildings found around Cincinnati that struck me as interesting. This series explores the manipulation and reflection of these buildings to create surreal and obscure images that entice the viewer. Within this series each image tells a different story with the usage of repetition, light, shadow, and negative

The Inspiration behind Isolation of Repetition is Tommaso Giuntini's work and Joakim Moller's work as well. Giuntini's work explores the usage of repetition and leading lines. Moller's work explores the usage of leading lines and surrealistic story telling using other images. I aim the explore similar themes of their work within my pieces as well.
